Chronicle of Wray Plumbing & Heating

Donald Devlin started as an employee with Wray Plumbing & Heating in 1947. He moved with the business and his family to Fort Collins in 1955. He purchased the business and eventually, in 1969, became the sole owner and President of the Company.

Don was 83 years young when he passed in May of 2013. He "reported" to work every day. He once described retirement as "Doing what I want to do and when I want to do it. I like what I am doing. I guess that is evident after 66 years in this industry." He took great pride in the long list of jobs his company completed across the State of Colorado. He was a man of many "lists", at the top; all birthdays and anniversaries of his friends and family. Second the "status" of the current projects and the "next project to be bid". He was the inspiration and the example we all strive to meet here at Wray Plumbing & Heating. He is missed by all of us.

Five of Don's sons and two grandsons work in the business. They can all remember the date they "joined" Wray Plumbing & Heating but have been "running the halls since we were children. We grew up at this place"
